Colleen Patterson, Partner and CEO
Colleen holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and a MSc in Systems Engineering from Carleton University. She has also completed a number of technical and management training programs including Project Management Training, Scrum Master Training, and a Data Analyst Nanodegree through Udacity.
Colleen has over 10 years experience planning, managing, and implementing telecommunication systems while working in the Department of National Defence and in private industry. She also has over 10 years experience in the semi-conductor industry in Verification for various chip sets, including LTE chips. Most recently, she’s tackled 3 years of Product Management experience for a web-based Software As A Service (SAAS) product, providing central data storage and web based reporting. Colleen has also provided Project Management support to a local solar company, RockPaperSun, in support of projects such as the installation at the Saskatoon Landfill.
Between work and self-study courses, Colleen serves on a volunteer board for a local Montessori school and spends time at the pool – swimming, watching, or officiating.
Tanya Lung, Partner and COO
Tanya holds a Diploma in Computer Systems Technology from SIAST as well as a BSc and MSc in Computer Science from the University of Saskatchewan. With over 18 years in the IT industry, her experience lies in web & software development, IT instructional course design & instruction, and managing Software Development teams.
She’s managed IT departments and software teams for multiple organizations. Most recently she worked as a Software Product Development Manager on a web-based software product. By leveraging Cloud providers, she led a team to develop a central repository to store data for multiple devices and customers.
Tanya is most proud of the collaborative teams she has built over the years and her ability to think out of the box when hiring skilled IT professionals in a competitive market. The right person doesn’t need to have a perfect skillset but they do need the right attitude.
When she’s not hard at work for Dyad’s clients she can be found in various sport venus in Saskatoon including hockey rinks, ball diamonds and Ultimate Frisbee fields. She’s also been known to take out her art supplies, sometimes just to look at them, with hopes of someday completing a masterpiece.
